Mission Statement
We will provide safe homes for children 17 and under who have been sex trafficked or exploited, where they can heal with the love of Jesus Christ.
We will network with local and federal organizations to provide every child with every resource needed to have the opportunity to thrive back to wholeness.
We will join forces with like-minded organizations to expose and eradicate this devastating crime against our children.
Sunshine Healing Homes Corporation is a nonprofit created on July 17, 2023. Our nonprofit will provide healing homes/aftercare residences for children 17 and under who have been sex trafficked or exploited. These will be classified as Group Homes, licensed by the state of Florida. We will be able to take in 4 to 12 children at a time. Currently, we are in Phase 2, which means all documents are in place, and we are ready to accept donations. As we build our presence in the nonprofit community, we will simultaneously raise funds and work on our licensing for the state of Florida. Our goal is to have our first home open in July 2024.
Our need for donations will be an ongoing process, as we dream of more than two homes in the state of Florida. And because this has become a huge problem. For example, with 10,000 migrants coming across our borders daily, how many of them are sex trafficked or exploited children? Not to mention those who already live here natively and experience this trauma from within their own homes and family members. We believe and it is our mission to provide that place to heal and prepare them for a life of good intentions and fulfillment.
